K-Pop Invation to My Couch

Different people from different places have different cultures and different thoughts, that's what traveling teach me... continues learning and understanding are the keys, and don't forget to open your mind.

I've been hosting number of people from many different countries since I joined CouchSurfing, Traveling Community. However, this time was my first experience hosting Korean . Not only one or two but Three altogether. Yupp! 3 of them lived in my lovely mini simple and modest Hello Kitty Flat. They are Lina Onni, Kim Oppa, and Min Oppa.

This guests, oppa and onni,  are not the same with my other guests:

• Backpacking versus suitcase flashpacking

             Security: "ttok ttok.. Me: Who's there?? (Open the door) Voilaaa 2 guys and 1 girl appeared with suitcase... This is for the first time in my entire life having a guest with a suitcase and a blazer or coat dressed up. Are you really want to surf my coach??  (just want to make sure) Yes, no matter how it is.  they are my guest. Welcome!!

• Business meeting featuring traveling

help them arrange meeting with Korean Business man in Jakarta

       They are 3 Korean with youth quake spirit of business really high. They have long list of meetings while they were visit Indonesia. They have prepared meeting with many successful Korean Businessman in Indonesia. Even I attend one of their meeting. I wish I understood what they were talking *dohh.  Since I also studied business, I couldn't agree more with what just they did. We should know what is our business for everything we do. Everything has to have got a point. Nothing useless or just wasting your time. They met Korean traders who have been staying in Indonesia for a long time built their business and have good connection with the local government. The Korean business men they met such as fish trader from Indonesian Ocean to Japan. Korean big chain convenient store owner in Jakarta and so forth.

• Korean baby face

Don't judge a book by it's cover also don't judge oppa by his face =P. My oppa  already 28 years old but God so nice to give them baby face look. Envy theeemmmm!!

• Noraebang korean night

As almost all Asia or east Asia people, we crazy about Karaoke so much. In Korean Karaoke called Noraebang. Not to forget to have noraebang with my korean guest for sure. Beside my korean guests, I also welcoming my best friend and her sister as our special guest star. They are a korean fever victim. They know many korean song and undoubtedly can sing it very well. Onni and Oppa also amazed by them. Good Job, Sist !! ^^

We had noraebang at Sarinah building. Compares to other karaoke, this noraebang place has more korean song list than others. We sang songs of Girls Generation, Wonder Girls, 2ne1, Big Bang, MBlaq, Jay Chou, Rihanna, Nicky Minaj, not to forget song from Indonesian Diva "Anggun C Sasmi". 

• Lead a high life

They are 3 young business person from Korea who loves urban life. Prefer to dine and drink beer in a cosmo-edgy urban cafe in a high land of Bandung rather than restaurant with traditional village concept, well that's taste^^. Also at the end they stay in a 5 stars hotel for a couple day before they return to Korea :D

• Long lasting spirit, Fighting!!

Korea grew fast and also move forward so fast. One of the factor why they become right now is they always high motivated they have a high spirit like wake up in the morning no matter what time they went to bed. After wake up swimming and take a bath. Fuuuhh....
