The Great China: Anhui-Baiji

It's better to travel ten thousand miles then to read ten thousand books
-China proverb

That proverb doesn't mean that the person too lazy to read a book, it's even better  when you are traveling you also reading or writing something.

The thing is, it will be different between when you are reading for example ten thousand book about china and you are really traveling ten thousand miles in China. Moreover, sometime  the book hasn't available yet so it's better to travel and wander, isn't it? Just like my traveling this time.

My traveling destination this time is visiting a rural village in Anhui Province, China. Many people know Anhui is the place for Yellow Mountain or Huangshan. But, I didn't go Huangshan, I went to Baiji 白际 instead。 Not so many tourist in this place, I'm the only foreigner there at that time but It's a lovely place. I don't really like the place that so many people go to. Also, what makes me like this journey even more is the budget trip. I only spent RMB 350 that includes, 8 hours bus from Nanjing to Baiji, one night accomodation, and meals. It's a good deal, isn't i?

After sitting more or less 8 hours on the school bus *not as comfortable as long trip bus, my journey start at 11pm and arrive at 7 in the morning, finally we arrived in the village called Baiji.

I know this trip will be good, after my sleepless bus trip, mean remarkable scenery and also dangerous, how can I sleep when I could see the cliff just an inch away from the bus. It's not kidding... the bus ride climb the mountain it goes around and around, what make it even more dangerous was the thick fog block your view. Really make your adrenaline rush it's really unforgettable.  I really want to take a picture of the road, the cliff and mountain but the fog covered it, i think it will be better to take a pic from helicopter and we can see a big picture...

These are pictures I took from the bus. I hope you can imagine how dangerous it is.I'm telling you it's a good experience...

After arrived, we set our lodging and get ready for our first day journey climbing the mountain..

this the village where we stay at.

It's a beautiful village with the river, not only fish live in a river here but also duck live happily. The more important thing is the fresh air, free from pollution.
We goo inside the Jungle.

The Jungle full of Bamboos, I wish I could bump into cutesy Panda but there isn't Panda here...

This scenery will company me you all day, don't get bored of it...

The Great China: Wuxi

The Great China, Wuxi

Wuxi or 无锡, is a name of city in Jiangsu Province, China. From city where I live, Nanjing, it only took more or less 1 hour by speed train G-Train and 2 hour by slow train or K-train.

Like other places in China Wuxi also has their own history.

3 days at Wuxi seems not enough, many places I missed to visit. On the regards of my first spring, I've never feel what exactly spring is before, I want to see the flower blossom, I went to visit Cherry blossom garden and sight seeing in the Wuxi downtown.

What a beautiful cherry blossom...

Nanjing Attraction Part 1

A city that I go for study for almost 4 months, has impressed  me on it's own way. Different with the place I come from. Nanjing has 4 seasons, spring and autumn not really significant though due to the short period but we can still count it. Nanjing renowned by it's ultra hot summer just like the oven or 火锅 (huoguo:  hot pot) .

However, Let's look at a good point what Nanjing has and we can feel more blessed and appreciate what has been created by The almighty God who's been created it wonderfully.

This time, I will introduce the famous Lake in Nanjing, that is Xuan Wu Hu. Located in the center of the city make it so easy to get there.

Xuanwu Lake in the spirng time...

This lake quite huge that can be seen from many sides, includes from Nanjing Train Station, therefore in the Nanjing train station side we can see many people sits down waiting for the train or waiting to pick up someone.

many activities can be done by the lake, for example play with the bubble and play kites.

The Great China

Never knew what good for me but my heart told me that I have to move  to a new place and never know why must be China. Like a river drift that can't stop flowing, my willingness to go and live in china also can't be stopped. This is my first time I study abroad. I'll be here for at least 6 months, not a long time. No, it's not because that I have lots of money if it's so I must be in Europe or US now :) but this culture, uniqueness, freakin' difficult language (sometime I regret to study it - what am I doing??!!), and many amazing things... make me realize that My choice was right... I love CHINA!!! and I don't want to go back that early I want to spend  more time to explore China.

with my teachers and my class mate

For the first 6 months I studied at Nanjing Normal University. NNU is one of the best university in Nanjing, especially to learn language. NNU in Ninghai Road also one of the most beautiful University in China and also full of history . Many people come to NNU to learn Mandarin. From Southeast Asia like Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos; Korea, Japan, Arabian, Uzbekistan, Russia, US, Belgium, German, French, and many more. I like to study here beside i got a knowledge of learning chinese language, I also have the opportunity to make friend from many countries.

Mono Chrome World #2 Portrait

When I'm making Monochrome or gray scale pictures, I think most of the general tips on how to compose or frame a good shot apply just as well to mono chrome photography as they do when I'm shooting in colour.- however the main obvious difference is that I'm unable to use colour to lead the eye into or around my shot. This means I need to train myself to look at shapes, tones and textures in my frame as points of interest. Pay particularly to shadows and highlights it's also important.

In this photos, I want to try to express the people's expression
